BIM Regions West Midlands presents the OpenBIM approach.
Join BIM Regions West Midlands for an evening of presentations centred around OpenBIM. OpenBIM is a universal approach to the collaborative design, realisation and operation of buildings based on open standards and workflows. Speakers include:
An OpenBIM Journey: Bond Bryan have a long history related to BIM and in particular to openBIM workflows. This is the story of how our approach has developed and evolved over the last 23 years from basic 3D models to producing high-quality BIM outputs and now into defining and validating requirements built around open standards. This presentation looks at why we believe open international standards such as IFC, COBie and BCF are key to our long-term strategy for creating structured, reusable and reliable data that can be used for years to come.
Nick from GliderBIM will discuss Asset Information Model management, COBie data management, and BIM for FM using the GliderBIM software.
